On Friday, July 29, 2019, JIIPE attended the Indonesia Investment Day event held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Singapore. The purpose of the Indonesia Investment Day activity itself is because Singapore is still the largest foreign investor in Indonesia for 5 (five) consecutive years. Total Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) for 2018 was USB 9.5 billion (up 9.1% compared to the same period in 2017 which was USD 8.4 billion). The total value of Singapore's investment realization from 2013-2018 reached USD 43.2 billion.
In this activity the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore collaborated with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) - the Singapore Committee, the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), and all stakeholders of Indonesia's economic diplomacy in Singapore. In the second event, the flagship activity in the tofu economy sector prioritized investment promotion in the industrial, tourism and infrastructure sectors in Indonesia.
In this activity which was attended by approximately 500 participants, JIIPE was represented by the Director of Marketing and Business Development, Sianny Indrawati. In his presentation, Sianny explained the investment potential in East Java, and the advantages of JIIPE which is the largest integrated industrial estate in East Java.
