Related to the Trans Java Toll Road, the government plans to integrate it with industrial estates in East Java, one of them is East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE. The Trans Java Toll Road is a toll road network that connects cities in Java which have a total length of 1,150 km with 533.3 km of which have been operating.
The government built the Trans Java Toll Road with the aim of facilitating access to various tourist destinations on the island of Java, so that the tourism sector will be encouraged. In addition, connecting the toll road to the industrial estate, for example the East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE, aims to improve accessibility to and from the industrial estate.
In this case, the East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE as one of the industrial estates integrated with the Trans Java Toll Road will reap many benefits related to ease of mobility and accessibility, reduce transportation and logistics costs, and optimize the time of distribution of goods.
East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE itself is the largest industrial estate in East Java as well as the first integrated industrial area in Indonesia which has been equipped with ports and docks for yachts and housing with the concept of an environmentally friendly independent city, named GEM City, with various exclusive facilities, such as golf courses and shopping centers.
