In response to the positive impact brought by the industrial estate on national economic growth, the government is currently intensively attracting investment in the sector. The government considers industrial estates, one of them JIIPE East Java Industrial Estate, to be able to increase foreign exchange and increase employment.
In this case, the most potential investor according to the government is the investor from the State of Ginseng. This is not without reason because currently South Korean investors occupy the seventh position in the realization of foreign investment in Indonesia during 2019, including in industrial estates such as the JIIPE East Java Industrial Estate.
The investment provided by South Korean investors is spread over several major subsectors, including chemical industry, leather industry, rubber industry, furniture industry, and pharmaceutical industry. So do not be surprised if the government continues to encourage investors from South Korea to invest in the industrial sector in Indonesia, especially in industrial areas such as the JIIPE East Java Industrial Estate.
JIIPE East Java Industrial Estate itself is the first industrial area in Indonesia which is not only integrated with modern ports, but also has a luxury residential facility called Gem City with a golf course and a dock for cruise ships
