East Java is a province located in the eastern part of the island of Java, an island that is the center of the national economy. Related to the national economy, this province is one that has a potential land of around 31 thousand hectares for industrial estate development.

At present, East Java already has several industrial zones spread across several regions. The largest industrial estate is the JIIPE Industrial Estate, located in Gresik. JIIPE Industrial Estate is the first integrated industrial estate in Indonesia which is equipped with ports and housing with an independent city concept.

Some aspects that make East Java as the most potential province for the development of industrial estates such as JIIPE Industrial Estate are the availability of adequate electricity supply and access to toll roads that will facilitate distribution and logistics.
