Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate (JIIPE) reinforces its position as an integrated industrial and port estate through the construction of a main access road 80 meters wide, known as ROW 80. Stretching approximately 3 kilometers, the new road directly connects the industrial area with JIIPE’s Deep-Sea Port.
This infrastructure development marks a strategic step to establish faster, more efficient, and sustainable logistics connectivity in East Java, while supporting smooth cargo flow for export and import activities.
The ROW 80 access road is designed to accommodate large-scale industrial logistics, including heavy cargo transportation. With its modern design and well-planned traffic system, this new route is expected to significantly reduce travel time between the industrial area and the port, thereby improving export efficiency for JIIPE tenants.
“We believe that strong connectivity is the foundation of a world-class industrial estate. The presence of this main access road not only shortens the distance between factories and the port, but also strengthens the competitiveness of our tenants and the entire industrial ecosystem within JIIPE,” said Bambang Soetiono, President Director of PT BKMS, on Friday (October 17).
He also expressed appreciation for the support of local government authorities and strategic partners who made this project possible.
With the industrial area and port now connected by only about three kilometers, JIIPE has established an integrated logistics chain capable of accelerating delivery times, reducing distribution costs, and supporting Indonesia’s national downstream industry agenda.
As a Special Economic Zone (SEZ), JIIPE remains committed to providing world-class infrastructure to support investment growth and operational efficiency for its tenants.
The development of this main access road stands as a tangible example of synergy between the government and the private sector in strengthening the logistics ecosystem and promoting sustainable economic growth in Indonesia.
