PT Berkah Kawasan Manyar Sejahtera (BKMS) held CSR Care Education activities in the form of scholarship assistance to 50 outstanding students at elementary, junior high, and high school / vocational high school level. Assistance in the form of tuition fees and equipment for one year.
Scholarships are given to outstanding students in six villages around JIIPE Industrial Estate, namely Desa Manyarsidorukun, Manyarsidomukti, Manyarejo, Banyuwangi, Karangrejo, and Kramat, in Manyar District, Gresik Regency, Friday (6/9/19).
Scholarships were immediately handed over to students who were accompanied by their parents, witnessed by their respective village heads in the Marketing Office of PT BKMS / JIIPE.
PT BKMS Director Henri Handoko explained that this scholarship is a form of company concern for the surrounding community, especially in the field of education. "Hopefully our help can be useful and more importantly the younger siblings can be motivated to study harder so that they will succeed in achieving their goals," he said in his speech.
This Education Cares CSR Program, he continued, is also a form of company contribution in helping government programs: Realizing Advanced Advanced Human Resources.
Handoko hopes, through this program, the community around the area will obtain the widest benefits. "And can strengthen the communication between the industrial community with the community around the area," he said.
He also hopes that with the support of all parties in JIIPE Industrial Estate development, it can be quickly implemented so that it can contribute to increasing national economic growth and Gresik, especially the surrounding community.
