In order to increase national economic growth, the government is increasingly aggressively attracting investment in the industrial sector through the development of industrial estates carried out in various regions in Indonesia, one of which is the East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE.
With the industrial estate entering the third generation, the government hopes that the development of the industrial estate must be equipped with integrated housing, especially for workers, such as in the East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE.
This needs to be done to prevent the emergence of slums in the vicinity of the industrial area that can reduce investor interest. Occupancy within the industrial estate is expected to reduce the high cost of living for workers.
In this case, the East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE is an industrial area that has been equipped with a luxury residence called Gem City which has a golf course and a dock for cruise ships. As the first integrated industrial estate in Indonesia and the largest in East Java, East Java Industrial Zone JIIPEis a model for other third generation industrial estates.
