Berlian Manyar Sejahtera Port (BMS) since its operation in 2016 until now is still experiencing fluctuation in loading and unloading volumes.
In 2016, the loading and unloading of ports which became part of the JIIPE Industrial Estate in Manyar, Gresik was 438,343 tons. Then in 2017 it will increase to 1.30 million.
Based on the origin of goods in the Manyar Port, it is still dominated by foreign-flagged vessels carrying the main dry bulk importer goods.
The performance of goods services both at home and abroad, especially dry bulk in units of T / S / D (Ton / Ship / Day) during the three years of operation has increased. During the operation of around 3 years of goods traffic, the performance and service of stevedoring in Manyar Port in the JIIPE Gresik Industrial Zone experienced a significant increase.
With the existing ship berth production capacity reaching 1.62 million tons per year and the availability of 2 mooring facilities, ship cranes and grabe-hopper in 2019, it is not surprising that the Port of Manyar in 2022 will have additional facilities.
In addition to facilities, the addition of equipment in the form of 4 units of Railed Mobile Portal Crane (RMPC) and the addition of 2 moorings. So the estimated occupancy capacity will be 5.42 million tons in 2022.
With the realization of this pier expansion, it can further streamline the national logistics flow from the JIIPE Gresik Industrial Zone. The existence of JIIPE Gresik Industrial Park Manyar port is the most important part of the connectivity of the flow of goods in the territory of Indonesia.
