The existence of WWTP facilities with its supporting facilities is a form of commitment of JIIPE Industrial Estate as part of realizing a healthy Industrial Estate in Indonesia and applying environmentally friendly principles in every existing business activity.
WWTP that is used by JIIPE Industrial Estate uses green electricity, that is utilizing solar energy in the form of solar panels that are paralleled with electricity supplied by PLN.
The WWTP treatment system is the process of treating wastewater from tenants using plant roots, where the roots of the plant function as a breeding ground for micro-organisms that will decompose wastewater. And this is the latest technology applied in Indonesia, one of which is in the JIIPE Industrial Estate in Gresik.
With the existence of this WWTP, JIIPE Gresik Industrial Estate can reduce the level of environmental pollution while at the same time be able to inspire the community to participate in protecting the environment, especially in Gresik so that it will benefit many people.
