After conducting a survey in the East Java Industrial Estate of JIIPE, Khofifah Indar Parawansa as the number one person in the province of East Java, also gave an opinion on the establishment of the industrial estate.
According to Khofifah, the presence of the East Java Industrial Estate JIIPE was able to make a significant contribution to East Java as an industrial province. It should be noted that East Java is a province where 29.4% of economic growth is supported by the industrial sector. Therefore, the East Java Industrial Zone, JIIPE is considered as one of the elements that supports the rate of economic growth in East Java.
Khofifah also believes that the East Java Industrial Estate JIIPE plays an important role related to industrial development in East Java because it can be an example for other industrial estates. This is because JIIPE's East Java Industrial Estate is the first integrated industrial estate in Indonesia that has succeeded in reducing production costs because all supporting facilities have been available for the companies that join in it.
