As a form of application of environmentally friendly aspects in the industrial area, East Java Industrial Estate JIIPE applies it to various facilities in it, such as sewage treatment systems, the use of seawater, and the use of natural gas. In addition, East Java Industrial Estate JIIPE has also implemented technology in accordance with the direction of the Minister of Industry (Menperin).
The Minister of Industry considers the steps required by the implementation of the Making Indonesia 4.0 program, one of the priorities giving special attention to the preservation of the Environment by using technology that has been implemented by the East Java Industrial Zone of JIIPE.
Through the use of technology, JIIPE East Java Industrial Estate is expected to be able to expand the asset and resource use cycle while increasing its utilization. JIIPE is also expected to be able to minimize emissions in production and distribution activities.
East Java Industrial Estate JIIPE is the largest industrial area in East Java as well as the first integrated industrial estate in Indonesia which has been equipped with ports and docks for yachts and housing with the concept of an environmentally friendly independent city, GEM City, with various exclusive facilities, such as golf courses and expense center.
