A submission process is currently underway to the government regarding the establishment of a Special Economic Zone (KEK) in the East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE. In this case, the formation of SEZs is in line with the government's long-term plan to improve the national economy.
Even though it aims to improve the economy, misunderstanding is still common among people who think that the existence of KEK in the East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE will make it difficult to provide jobs for the community.
